Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian actress and television presenter. Her most well-known work is the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. Alexandra Maria Lara was born as the sole child of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. In her early teens, Alexandra played the leading role in several television dramas. Her fame was due to her portrayal as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable roles, including Adolf Hitler's Secretariat Traudl Junge. The other Oscar nominated movies featuring the famous diva are The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra worked on several notable national and international projects throughout her career. Among others, these projects comprise British Biographical Film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many others. She was also part of both The Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
